Matthew is a designer at Jane Gil Gardens Inc, having previously studied Architecture and Publishing Design at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. A lifelong New Yorker, he has immersed himself in the arts the city has to offer, creating displays and installations for leading luxury and lifestyle brands, hospitality groups, as well as private clientele. 

His passion for detail, in all aspects of design, is now combined with his love for gardening, working with our team to execute bespoke and creative installations for clients. Keen to explore the world, he can often be found traveling to new and remote destinations where museums, gardens, and local aesthetics are documented and used for inspirations in his works.

Matthew continues to maintain a large collection of indoor plants, unique to his travels, as well as those endemic to New York. In the future he plans to extend his collection to the outdoors as well, creating new and creative gardens at his home in the city.
